A top Birmingham stylist, lifestyle and fashion blogger started by Emmanuella “Funmi” Ford. Funmi Ford began as an artistic outlet and grew into an limited liability corporation as of 2019. The goal of this site to motivate through fashion, faith and family and to push women and men to not only chase their dreams but to look and feel good while doing it.
As my style evolves and grows, my goal is to help others grow as well. Style should be a universal language that bridges the gap between language, racial and economic barriers. My goal is to become that bridge for the amazing people that join this journey with me. If I can help redefine and give you a new perspective on fashion and how you look at yourself, then this blog will have accomplished it’s purpose.
Faith is also an important part of my journey. Beauty has to begin on the inside before it can be realized on the outside. As a motivational speaker, I love to uplift others through my words, prayers and faith.

My name is Emmanuella Oluwafunmilayo Ford or Funmi (Foo-Me) Ford. You can also call me Emma Ford. I am Nigerian born but moved to the United States at eight years old. I graduated from Auburn Montgomery with a liberal arts degree and am currently pursing a Masters in English. I worked in corporate America for years until I became a full-time mum and entrepreneur.
I am a wife to attorney Samuel Ford and mum to two handsome boys Sammy and Solly (age 3 & newborn). I am an avid reader, lover of Dateline, American Greed and Snapped and a self-proclaimed private eye. My family is my life and creating new memories with them and my audience is my greatest joy.
